YCO Cloud and Philippines-based cloud provider Aolani have announced a partnership to deploy one of the first NVIDIA GB300 NVL72 rack-scale clusters in the country, in a move pitched as a major step for the Philippines' artificial intelligence infrastructure.
The announcement, made on September 28, says the buildout is designed to support large-scale AI training and high-performance computing workloads. According to the companies, the full deployment is planned to exceed 10,000 NVIDIA Blackwell Ultra GPUs, with the initial phase expected to come online in the first quarter of 2027. The facilities are described as being powered by renewable energy.
The cluster is intended to serve enterprises, researchers and government customers that need access to large-scale compute for training frontier AI models — capacity that has been in short supply across Southeast Asia as demand for AI infrastructure surges.
YCO Cloud says the project will combine its data-centre and cloud operations expertise with Aolani's local footprint, positioning the Philippines as a regional hub for AI-ready computing. The partnership also points to growing interest from global and regional operators in building AI data centres outside the traditional hubs of the United States, Europe and North Asia.
Industry analysts have noted that rack-scale systems like the GB300 NVL72 are increasingly central to AI data-centre economics, packing far greater compute density into a single rack than earlier generations. For the Philippines, landing an early deployment of NVIDIA's latest architecture would mark a significant moment in its digital-economy ambitions.
All capacity, timeline and investment figures above are as announced by the two companies, and have not been independently verified.
