Vivo has brought its flagship book-style foldable, the X Fold 6, to India, pricing the single 12GB RAM + 512GB storage variant at Rs 2,19,999. The device, first unveiled in China in June, is available for pre-booking and goes on sale through the Vivo India e-store from October 13 in Nebula Teal and Prism Black colours.
The headline hardware is the 8.02-inch LTPO AMOLED main display with 2,504 x 2,312 resolution, a 1-120Hz adaptive refresh rate, 424ppi density, 100 per cent DCI-P3 coverage and HDR support, paired with a 6.51-inch AMOLED cover screen. Powering the foldable is MediaTek's 3nm Dimensity 9500 Super Edition chipset, with 12GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage. It ships with Android 17-based OriginOS 7.
Photography is a second pillar: a Zeiss-tuned triple rear system led by a 200-megapixel f/1.68 primary sensor with optical image stabilisation, joined by a 50-megapixel ultrawide and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto offering up to 100x digital zoom. Both displays carry 20-megapixel selfie cameras, and video recording goes up to 8K.
A 6,900mAh battery with 80W wired FlashCharge powers the package, and connectivity includes 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4 and multi-system satellite navigation including NavIC. The X Fold 6 claims IP58 and IP59 ratings for dust and water resistance, measures 4.40mm thick when unfolded, and weighs about 228g. Security comes from a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and face unlock.
The launch lands alongside Vivo's wider October push in India, with the camera-focused V80 and the battery-heavy S2 FE also arriving in the same window.
