Streaming platforms are loading up the third week of October with a slate that spans celebrity chat, heavyweight boxing history, superhero sagas and political drama. Here are the biggest releases arriving between October 12 and October 17.
Koffee With Karan Season 9 — JioHotstar, October 14
Karan Johar returns to host the ninth season of his long-running celebrity talk show, which he has said will be the last. The farewell edition brings the show's 22-year journey to a close with a guest list expected to feature Bollywood personalities exclusively. In a notable departure from tradition, cricketers will not appear this season, keeping the final run firmly within the film industry. Rapid-fire rounds, games and the show's trademark candid confessions return one last time.
The Diplomat Season 4 — Netflix, October 15
Keri Russell is back as US Ambassador Kate Wyler in the political thriller's fourth season, with all eight episodes dropping together. The power structure has shifted dramatically: Allison Janney's Grace Penn now sits in the Oval Office as President, reshaping the alliances and crises Kate must navigate across London and Washington. Rufus Sewell returns as Hal Wyler, keeping the diplomatic and marital storylines as entangled as ever.
Tyson — Netflix, October 13
This four-part documentary series looks beyond the fearsome public image of Mike Tyson, revisiting the extraordinary sporting triumphs and the personal collapses that followed: incarceration, substance abuse and financial ruin. Tyson himself participates extensively, reflecting on the decisions that turned a boxing phenomenon into one of sport's most complicated cultural figures.
