Actor and filmmaker R. Madhavan is set to host a new global business reality format titled 'Game Changers', announced by Optimystix Entertainment India Limited on Monday. The show will be produced in Dubai for the Middle East market, with plans to expand the format across geographies.
Described as a premium, internationally scalable entertainment property, 'Game Changers' will bring startup founders from different parts of the world together to pitch their ventures before an international panel of investors, with representation from Dubai, London, Russia and the United States. Production is expected to commence shortly.
Beyond a conventional pitch show
Optimystix founder and chairman Vipul D Shah said the company is developing the format as a future-facing global entertainment franchise and an owned intellectual property with the potential to travel across markets, attract brand partnerships and create multiple monetisation streams. He added that the project combines the company's mass-audience entertainment expertise with the global energy around entrepreneurship, innovation and investment.
Co-founder and group CEO Rajesh Bahl said the format will go beyond conventional pitching, spotlighting the ambition, resilience, strategy and personal conviction behind the businesses, and giving audiences an inside view of what it takes to build, fund and scale a company in today's competitive global economy.
Dubai as launchpad
Dubai has been chosen as the production base for the Middle East edition, with Optimystix positioning the UAE outing as the first step toward a wider international rollout that could include regional editions, language adaptations, format licensing and digital-first content extensions. Further details, including the show's release date, are yet to be unveiled.
