Prime Video has released the trailer of its upcoming MX Original series 'Ishqa Ishqa', a romantic thriller that digs into the uncomfortable space where love shades into obsession and control. The series, written by Rajesh Bachchani and directed by Amit Kumar Jha, will stream free on Prime Video and the MX Player Android app from October 7, 2026.
Produced by Moving Images Studios Pvt. Ltd., the show follows Kabir, a rising author played by Satyajeet Dubey, who finds himself torn between two very different kinds of love. One offers him peace; the other feeds his chaos.
A Love Triangle Built on Chaos and Calm
The trailer introduces the three central figures. Arohi, played by Helly Shah, loves Kabir with an all-consuming intensity that leaves little room for distance, doubt or choice. Suhani, played by Anushka Kaushik, offers him something he has long been missing: stability, trust and emotional clarity. As Arohi returns to his life, she threatens to drag Kabir back into the turbulent intensity that has shaped both his relationships and his identity as a writer. The series frames the two women as opposing forces — chaos and calm, possession and freedom — and introduces a device called 'The Dare' that turns the emotions into a psychological game.

Helly Shah described Arohi as far more layered than a straightforward obsessive figure. "Arohi loves Kabir with absolute intensity, but for her, love and possession are almost the same thing," she said, calling the character intelligent, strategic and deeply emotional — and warning that beneath the vulnerability lies a side that can be incredibly dangerous. Playing someone who swings between those extremes, she said, was both challenging and exciting.
Satyajeet Dubey said Kabir is a sensitive man trapped in a situation that keeps tightening around him. While Suhani brings peace and emotional clarity into his life, Arohi's intense presence makes it hard for him to move forward, and every attempt at a fresh start pulls him back into circumstances he never imagined.
Anushka Kaushik described Suhani as grounded and emotionally aware, a woman who believes love should come with trust and space. There is also, she said, a quiet strength in the character that becomes more visible as the story unfolds.
