The Owens sisters are back — on your home screen. "Practical Magic 2" arrived on digital video-on-demand platforms on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, a little over a month after its theatrical debut on September 10.
The sequel is available to buy or rent across major digital retailers including Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV and Fandango, with a range of pricing options for witches of all budgets.
Pricing and formats
On Amazon Prime Video, the film is priced at $24.99 to buy or $19.99 to rent, while a digital bundle pairing the sequel with the 1998 original goes for $29.99. Rentals follow the usual window: 30 days to start watching and 48 hours to finish once pressed play.
Physical media collectors have a date to mark as well — the 4K UHD, Blu-ray and regular DVD editions arrive on December 1, 2026, packed with bonus features including the making-of featurettes "The Practical Magic Returns," "Practically Magical," "The Curse of an Owens Woman" and "Home Again."
The coven returns
Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman reprise their roles as witch sisters Sally and Gillian Owens, joined by Joey King, Maisie Williams, Lee Pace, Xolo Maridueña, Solly McLeod, Dianne Wiest and Stockard Channing. Susanne Bier directs from a screenplay by Akiva Goldsman, Georgia Pritchett and Kelly Marcel, based on Alice Hoffman's 2021 novel "The Book of Magic."
In the sequel, the sisters must confront the dark curse that threatens to unravel their family once again — a familiar threat for longtime fans of the franchise.
