Netflix has offered the first look at its 2026 Christmas movie slate, unveiling an exclusive teaser that previews four festive films arriving weekly from November through December.
The teaser, released through People on October 11, features clips from A Dog's Perfect Christmas, Guarding Stars, In a Holidaze and Tyler Perry's The Gospel of Christmas. People will debut longer trailers and behind-the-scenes details from the stars throughout the week.
The four films
First up is A Dog's Perfect Christmas, premiering November 4. Directed by Cathryn Michon and based on W. Bruce Cameron's novel, it stars Dennis Quaid, Milo Ventimiglia, Jennifer Tilly and Mary Steenburgen in the story of a family struggling to stay together over the holidays, held together by a teenager, her grandfather and his loyal basset hound.
Tyler Perry's The Gospel of Christmas arrives November 11. Written and directed by Perry, it follows a struggling pastor who inherits his family's church in a troubled New York neighborhood. The film stars Fantasia Barrino and Tank alongside gospel legends including Shirley Caesar, Fred Hammond, the Clark Sisters, Yolanda Adams and CeCe Winans.
Guarding Stars, set for November 18, pairs Leighton Meester and Jared Padalecki with Andie MacDowell in a holiday romance about a no-nonsense bodyguard assigned to protect a charming action star, inspired by Katherine Center's novel.
Rounding out the slate is In a Holidaze on December 2, starring Maddie Ziegler and Rob Lowe. Based on Christina Lauren's novel, it traps a directionless twenty-something in a holiday time loop, forcing her to relive the same Christmas at her family's cabin.
