New Delhi: Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) has opened online applications for 150 Junior Executive posts on a short-term engagement basis, inviting applications from engineering graduates across nine disciplines.
The recruitment, notified under advertisement number HAL/CHRC-TAR/RECT-03/2026, offers 150 vacancies across nine engineering disciplines: Aeronautical, Chemical, Civil, Computer Science, Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Metallurgy and Production. Mechanical engineering has the largest share with 78 posts, followed by Electrical with 25 and Electronics with 21.
Application window and eligibility
The online application window opened on 7 October 2026 at 2:00 pm and closes on 17 October 2026 at 2:00 pm. Applications can be submitted only through the Careers section of HAL's official website, www.hal-india.co.in. HAL is a Maharatna Central Public Sector Undertaking under the Ministry of Defence.
According to the notification, candidates must be Indian nationals holding a regular or full-time degree in engineering or technology in one of the eligible disciplines. Candidates in the unreserved, OBC-NCL and EWS categories need at least 60 per cent aggregate marks, while SC, ST and PwBD candidates need 50 per cent.
The upper age limit is 28 years as on 17 October 2026 for unreserved and EWS candidates, with age relaxations for reserved categories as per government rules.
Selection and pay
Selection will be through interview only, tentatively scheduled in November 2026. Selected candidates will be engaged for a maximum of three years at a basic pay of Rs 30,000 in the E0 pay scale of Rs 30,000 to Rs 1,20,000. Postings will be at HAL divisions across Bengaluru, Tumakuru, Hyderabad, Nasik, Koraput, Barrackpore, Lucknow, Kanpur and Korwa.
