ASUS has launched the ProArt P16 and ProArt P14 laptops along with the ProArt GR1X mini PC, a new lineup of Windows machines built around NVIDIA's RTX Spark platform and aimed at creators who want to run large AI models and agents locally rather than in the cloud. The company announced the launch on October 7, 2026, and opened pre-orders the same day through the ASUS Store and Best Buy in the United States.

At the heart of the new machines is the NVIDIA RTX Spark Superchip, which ASUS says delivers up to one petaflop of AI performance with up to 128GB of unified memory, pairing an NVIDIA Blackwell RTX GPU with an NVIDIA Grace CPU and the CUDA software ecosystem. The company positions the lineup for demanding local workloads: according to ASUS, the hardware can handle large language models of up to 120 billion parameters, 3D scenes exceeding 90GB, and AI-assisted 4K video editing — vendor claims that have not been independently benchmarked.

ASUS has also tied the launch to software partnerships. The company is working with ComfyUI, the open-source visual AI workflow platform, and with Hermes Agent from Nous Research, to let creators build and run local AI workflows using plain-language instructions.

The 16-inch ProArt P16 is the flagship of the range. ASUS describes it as the thinnest 16-inch ProArt laptop to date at 3.9 lbs and 0.63 inches thin, with up to a 99.9Wh battery, up to a 16-inch 4K (3840x2400) OLED touch display and up to 128GB of LPDDR5X memory. The 14-inch ProArt P14, billed as the lightest ProArt laptop ever, weighs 3.26 lbs, is 0.63 inches thin, and offers up to a 90Wh battery and a 14-inch 3K (2880x1800) OLED touch display.

The ProArt GR1X mini PC rounds out the lineup in a 150 x 150 x 51mm chassis, with dual M.2 SSD slots, 10GbE networking, Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4, and support for up to four 4K displays. ASUS says the GR1X will be available later this year, mainly in 64GB and 128GB configurations. The company said further regional availability, including the UAE, is expected during October 2026.

The launch extends NVIDIA's RTX Spark platform — which entered consumer Windows PCs for the first time earlier this month — into ASUS's creator-focused ProArt line, as PC makers race to sell on-device AI capability rather than cloud subscriptions.
