Amazon's Great Indian Festival 2026 sale begins today, October 8, for all customers, with the retailer promising discounts of up to 80 per cent on electronics alongside bank offers, exchange deals and cashback for premium smartphone buyers.
Flagship phones headline the sale
Amazon has announced headline deals across premium smartphones ahead of the sale. The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, currently listed at Rs 99,999, will be available from Rs 84,999, with Amazon saying the price includes a Rs 5,000 coupon offer. The Xiaomi 17, backed by Leica cameras, is listed at Rs 59,999 with a flat Rs 3,000 bank discount and up to six months of no-cost EMI.
The sale page also promises what it calls "epic deals" on the iPhone 16, along with offers on the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7, OnePlus 15R and Vivo X300 FE, though exact prices for some devices are expected to be revealed only once the sale goes live.
Bank offers and cashback
Customers paying with SBI credit cards, debit cards or credit-card EMI can get a 10 per cent instant discount, while Amazon Pay ICICI Bank credit card users can earn cashback subject to terms. The retailer has also lined up exchange bonuses on select phones and additional benefits for Prime members.
Across smartphones, laptops, tablets, televisions and audio products, Amazon says discounts will go up to 80 per cent. Early-bird teasers had already flagged the OnePlus N6x at Rs 18,499 and the iQOO Z10 Lite 5G at Rs 15,999.
Festive-season shopping showdown
The Amazon sale kicks off the festive e-commerce season's biggest head-to-head: Flipkart's Big Billion Days 2026 returns for its 13th edition on October 9, with early access for Plus, BLACK and credit-card members beginning October 8. Shoppers should check the final payable amount before paying, as advertised prices bundle coupons, bank offers and exchange bonuses that depend on eligibility.
